Tex Hex, an outlaw who holds near total control over the various gangs that wander the arid deserts of New Texas, stands before you. Blood red eyes stare from lidless sockets as he dismounts his speeder, the steer skull at its front gleaming in the light of the twin moons. As he strides casually over to your camp, kicking the campfire into a flurry of embers against the darkened sky he lowers his right hand into a telltale position. The demand for a duel.
"Ah don't like shootin men dead with no plasma caster in their hand." His head lowers, a menacing gaze peering out from beneath the brim of an abused stetson. "But don't think that'll save ya."

Just a bit of fan art of one of my favorite BBEG. You'll be seeing a bit of fan art from me in the coming weeks of a lot of my favorites from the 80s and 90s, mostly the evil side of the fiction gambit but that's just where my interests lay.

Jungo-lungo! Someone else around here knows Pirates Of Dark Water!
I thought I was the last true seeker in all the 20 seas of Mer!
I'd like to feed whatever jitatten Naja dog cancelled that series halfway through to the constrictus!
After all... "the only two men ever to escape the constrictus are Ren... and most of Konk!" gestures to peg leg

What if someone made a modern open-world adventure of the series?
Like, crossing the prairies and deserts of New Texas under it's blazing three suns on turbo-stallion, or with / on Thirty/thirty himself, with the powers of Bravestarr's totems as skill trees for exploration, solving the woes of the prospectors, and of course, wrangling in the Carrion Bunch, one-by-one, shaping up for the final confrontation with Hex and Stampede at the Hexagon?
Something like a cross between Red Dead Redemption and Batman Arkham City (the Eyes of the Hawk and the Opto-visor would both make great tools for detective work), but with that distinctive 80s sci-fi flavor?
If that idea doesn't sound right, maybe something more akin to Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath?
It's a dream I have.

I'd accept that, or a Fate module book, maybe.
Renegade Studios did Power Rangers, Transformers, and G.I.Joe TTRPGs, who's to say they wouldn't also do He-man / She-ra and Bravestarr, someday?
Maybe a comic book miniseries, that always seems to be the go-to option for continuing / rebooting 80s TV series, and it usually gets good results.

lol yeah. I only have one of their games (Zombicide: Night of the Living Dead) but damn is it well made. I mean all the minis except for the six powered up versions of the protagonists are taken straight from the 1968 film print, there's even a Bill Heinzman cemetery zombie. I just wish they'd do a 1990 expansion so I can have a mini of Tony Todd lol.
