Comic: Guided By The Wind (Page 2)
A brief moment passes just before the Wind Bomb impacts the ground. True to its name, it contains nothing but pure, flowing Wind Magic inside. Indeed, as soon as it touches the rough grass of the hilltop, a forceful gust of Wind pulsates upward. With her arms spread outward as if she were a high-flying falcon, she is carried by the wind. Undoubtedly, this was her preferred method of travel. Within her adventurous and free-spirited soul, she lets the power of the Emerald Winds guide her on her chosen path. The thrill of soaring high into the sky shows the truest form of herself, “Wooohoo!!!” Almost as if she were wholly weightless, with a quick flourish, she touches down on an otherwise vacant stone, “Hup!”
Now, deep within the depths of the Wonderkept Woodlands, she observes the vicinity. “Hmmm…” Quiet, yet peaceful. The Belvenere leaves lightly sway under a gentle breeze as she investigates. As she explores deeper within, she consults her map to ensure she follows the right path. “Gotta be getting close right? Ugh, did I go the wrong way again?” After following a series of clues and tips from the nearby farming village, Sevh, Ithaca theorizes that the person she so eagerly searches for can’t be far off. Alas, that sneaking feeling that her journey would turn out fruitless yet again refused to leave her alone. Just one sign of hope would do wonders, instill confidence that, yes, she would get to greet her friend once more. And yet, still nothing. Not a sound, not even a faint whisper in the distance. Not one to lose hope, the coyote reassures herself, “Everyone in town was saying she just passed through…”
