Ulric, like all male badgers, is trekking to Salamandastron. However, an attack by a group of Mossflower vermin and a heavy storm find him near death at the gates of Redwall Abbey. Ulric is nursed back to health and eventually joins Flench and Rosalin on their journey back to the mountain fortress. Not much is known about the strong, young, silent warrior. He carries a massive broadsword and a long black cloak with a red underside. More information about Ulric will be revealed in upcoming pages.
