It's been a long time since I've done any drawing, and even longer since I've posted anything anywhere. I often get busy and caught up in the daily routine that I've acclimated to and stop drawing, sometimes for months on end, but I always find myself coming back at some point.
Very recently I've been going through something really difficult in my personal life and I'm very much in the taking-one-day-at-a-time phase of grief. Today, I discovered that I wanted to draw something for the first time in months and so this silly, cute little doodle of my foxy girl Vera came to be. I'm still playing around with her colour palette and even some of her markings too, so don't expect a consistent design or a character concept sheet anytime soon. I want to get her design completely pinned down, but like I said...one day at a time.
Here's to hoping that things get better and that I can just focus on positive, growing aspects of my life.
