Virgil is a naive virgin and gullible simp for Jezzabelle. Jezzabelle is his first girlfriend and he mistakenly thinks his toxic relationship is normal. He believes a girl can get pregnant through kissing. He also believes that Chad and Jezzabelle are just good friends. Everyone knows about Chad and Jezzabelle, but they don't tell Virgil as a way to protect him, ignorance is bliss.

Jezzabelle is a gold digger. She has no romantic interest in Virgil and only uses him for his money. Belle will often ghost Virgil until she needs money. She has convinced Virgil that she is a virgin and that they can't do anything until marriage, including kissing. She still allows him to occasionally hold hands and hug. She introduces Virgil to others as her friend and will try to keep her distance from him at social events. Jezzabelle will sleep with any guy except Virgil.

Chad has been Virgil's best friend since childhood. Chad was only his friend as a child because he was the only kid in the neighborhood that had all the latest video games. Chad would date any girl that Virgil said he had a crush on just to hurt him. Unbeknownst to Virgil, Chad slept with all his sisters, cousins and even his mom. Chad often "borrows" things from Virgil without asking and never returns them. Virgil helped Chad get a job where he works, Chad then took the credit for the work Virgil did to help him get promoted. Chad is now Virgil's boss.
