Always a sucker for a pretty face, renowned tournament fighter Alcaeus Pagonis met his match when he saw the rabbit woman enter the arena. Her grey fur shined lilac in the harsh southern sun, piercing blue eyes gazing tenacity while her brigandine and sabre showed she was not one to be trifled with. They exchanged idle pre-fight chat and pleasantries before the lion had joked the loser would buy the first round of drinks. He did not expect her to agree to it. Despite ultimately winning the fight and moving to the next round, he insisted that he pay instead. Impressed by her vigor in her first tournament, and wishing to get to the know the ex-soldier more. That rabbit was Ms. Valerie Lilac.

Since their encounter in the arena, a relationship had begun. However, as her adventuring party was leaving to continue their quest, Ms. Lilac had cut their blooming love short. The rabbit grew afraid for his safety as she was a wanted woman in the north, the soldier gone rogue to aid the princess in her search to overthrow the tyrannical queen. While Alcaeus reluctantly agreed to go their separate ways, and he continued to fight in tournaments, long did he yearn and miss the Lilac hare. He swore that if he saw her again, that he would forgo any consequence so that his growing love may be given to the woman that stole his thoughts.

The months to follow, Alcaeus would find himself in the nation Ms. Lilac had fled, where the evil queen ruled. A rebellion was growing in the nation's capital, planning to take the country back. Thinking of his love he followed and showed support to this rebellion, going as far as to wear their insignia on his cloak. This resulted in him being taken and tried for treason, with death as the punishment. Days go by and the once proud lion lay in a cell, beaten and tattered. As his execution grew near, but one wish remain in his mind. Alcaeus wished to see his dear Lilac once more, and to profess to her his true love.
As it felt all was lost, he could hear his cell door swing open. A gentle hand had taken his chin, the familiar touch of dear Ms. Lilac! Though first stoic, she crumbled at his sight. She fell to her knees to meet his gaze as he professed to her what might had been his final wish. Tears shed from their eyes as she confesses the same, where they finally take each other and share their first kiss.

The days following him being broken out of the old queen's jail were quite momentous! He had aided his love and her adventuring party with overthrowing the evil queen, and establishing a new rule in the nation with the once princess now queen. However, what mattered to him more, Alcaeus finally gathered his bravery and asked the rogue officer Valerie Lilac, to be his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Lilac-Pagonis then in the following years settled down from adventuring, and now own a bakery with some of the finest pies and fencing lessons you could ever ask for.
