Caution: HUGE IMAGE

I've been thinking long and hard and decided that it's time that I pick up the sewing needle again. I've wanted to get back into making puppets again, as I had a blast with the lion I made back in August of last year. (I think it was August...was it? >.<)

After contemplating on which critter to do next I chose...a llama! I think that the long neck of the animal would be easy to create for arm-space, and allow alot of expression and movement. Plus, I love those big adorable eyes. And the nose would be fun to fiddle with. I hope to be able to figure out how to do those cable puppets, as I'd love to be able to make his ears flip back when he's annoyed.

I tried long and hard to just sketch out various angles of llama heads for concept art of the adorable guy...but none turned out llama-ish. Soo I thought I'd try to 3D render it and was surprised at myself. @_@ Some angles he looks like a horse...others, definately a llama. Hope you like!

If you have any experiance with these cable systems please let me know!

Aaaand if I do get to make him...his name will be Martin. Can't decide if it's going to be boy or girl...but if it's a girl, I have a yearning to make her wear lipstick, mascara, and have a spanish accent. XD
