Saw this over on Weight Gaming and fell in love with the style and concept immediately <3.
I especially appreciate that this is not a one-off and that you seem interested in gradually adding more things to it over time, so very much looking forward to seeing what else is to come next, be it this game or whatever else you decide to make :D!

Thanks a lot!!
It was kind of was going to be a one off, but I quickly realized it had a lot more potential and wanted to keep working on it! Although I do feel like I'm getting closer to the end though, I am very glad I went back and kept working on it, it would've been sad to abandon such a fun little project that I enjoy messing around with.
I'm currently working on to add some more to it in the art department, maybe a few finishing touches as well. ^w^

You're welcome! Very fascinating to get a bit of backstory on the game's development at that!
Admittedly, when I think "Game & Watch game, but you grow fatter as you eat", it certainly did come across as the kind of game most folks would make as a one n' done type of game for sure, so it was a genuine surprise to see it had gotten an update past the initial release :P. The initial concept is already fairly entertaining by itself, but awesome to hear you seem to enjoy working on it enough to give it some additional love, haha!
Anyway, looking forward to everything you have planned for it, even if only a few extra things -- art, gameplay, or whatever other surprises are in store~

Yeah definitely!! I was kinda surprised I went back and kept updating it after the first version too. It started as just fixing bugs and making improvements, but then I started wanting to mess around with it more and add new features and stuff. Now I wanna wrap it all up in a nice little package, and make it something more than a quick week project, turn it into a somewhat actual game.
But yeah thanks again, hopefully I come up with more cool stuff people will enjoy!

Ah, yet another fascinating bit of backstory to hear! I appreciate the commentary on how the game came to reach its current state, truly <3.
In that case then, looking forward to the 'completed' version of this game! It's still quite a good game in its current state, so excited to see where it ends up once you feel you're ready to move on from it!
You're welcome once again, though :D -- likewise, you can be sure I'll be just as excited to see whatever is to come after this project!

Haha yeah, it's fun talking about this stuff >w>
'Complete' may just be a couple more animations and artwork with some fixes here and there, but it'll be finished in a sense that I'm happy with where it's at. I got another idea for a game that I'm gonna have to move on to eventually, plus I still got a lot to learn with programming and game dev in general, so I'm gonna have to take out some time for that.

I'd bet! If anything, thank you for indulging my curiosity in that regard :P.
Ah, noted and fair. Even if mostly just a few small additions from here on out, still excited regardless! It at least seems to me that your game dev journey will be one filled with creative ambition, so I'm confident whatever is to come next will be just as entertaining!
