Alright, people. Place your bets. Who do you think is gonna come out on top? The personification of nuclear destruction? Or the demonic beast whose come to claim his opponent’s title?


So this piece has a funny story to it. My good friend, Paw has been really into Godzilla memes and stuff ever since they went and saw Godzilla Minus One. Since I was bored and had some extra cash laying around, I decided to hire them to draw up some kaiju’s as wrestlers and slap them on a poster like this. Giant monster movies used to play out like glorified wrestling matches anyways so it seemed like a good fit. Plus, it would give them a chance to draw their two interests at the exact same time. Oh, and I chose Destoroyah for a reason. I figured Ghidorah or King Kong would’ve been too obvious a choice so I decided to go with a slightly obscure opponent. It helps that Destoroyah nearly killed Godzilla in their first and only outing and they already look like a major heel that radiates a ton of edgy energy.


Also I wanna make a proposal to you guys. There are currently no plans to make any follow up pieces to this but I will if there’s enough demand for it. Just write in the comments how much you wanna see artwork of these two duking it out. Hell, if one of you actually goes to the effort of creating a petition and sharing it with me, I guarantee I’ll start brainstorming ideas right away.
