The level of 'grossness' probably depends on which end of the dragon those bones actually exited the dragon! In some grade school science classes children get to break apart real owl pellets to examine the bones inside of them. Most reptiles though, completely dissolve the skeletons of their prey. Perhaps dragons are more bird than reptile, or this one, at least.
