Inadvertent Earthshape
Earthbenders like those Earth Dragons can also shape soil and stone...Like Toph from Avatar the Legend of Aang, huh?
About the artwork, Young Ethranox (You can call him "Ethan" for short) alone tests himself how good is "earthshaping". He forms many columns made of soil using his earthshaping spell. After many random attempts to control the ground, he accidentally makes his last elevation highest where he stands. O..o
So he is trapped, and he can't fly when his wings are still small. But, to get down, he jumped from column to column by level. :)
He has to learn more earth spells. The main spells are, meteor shower, earthshaping, stoneskin and massive earthquake. ^^

Nice top-down perspective, dude! I have a bad feeling that the top-dow perspective isn't very popular among furry artists. I'm glad to see such an effortful picture at this angle. The picture looks pretty cluttered, but by cluttered I mean the opposite of spacious. It has a sort of tight-spaced sense to it. I'm so glad you actually drew scales -all- along the dragon's body! That takes plenty of time to get done correctly, especially for large dragons.
However, aside from the dragon, a lot of the picture has really dark colors... that's rather dissapointing. I would've like to see some yellow or violet, or something like that.
