I understood how they did the world:

You're scaled up to 100m (VRC technical maximum) or somewhat around that size depending on your avatar height. Maybe the maximum 5m will be set to 100m?
The scaling is then hidden and you get an own menu, showing ya normally scaled in a huuuuuge environment.
Then there are buttons that you, others oder all can be constantly shrunken over time between 20 seconds and 2 hours. 2 hours will make you nearly not feel anything for 30min and then it's more and more obvious that the perspective shifts, slowing down for the last centimeters. You'll be internally above 20cm in VRC, but shown as around 1cm in relation when it ends.
Also there are multiple things like an extra tiny menu, new colliders for tinies, some post fx and interactables for tinies. That's definitely a secret tip map for macro micro fans! Follow my twitter for more world tips and testings! >w<
