It. Is. HERE! The new reference, after a year of work, is complete! This is an update to this old reference. Nothing of the design changed, no, but I've had more than one artist make comments that the old one pixelated too fast and lacked the resolution to show detail where it mattered. No longer! It may still be fuzzy for you here, had to butcher it a little to even make it fit under 10MB(Even JPEG-ifying it wasn't enough on its own), but at least it's here now!
Some (still true) items moved from the old upload:
Some notes that don't fit on the reference:
-Purple spikes on rear leg and neck are amethyst-like structures. Hard, crystalline and translucent. When Vraeryn activates his glow, they generate a soft glow of their own while also refracting the green from his green bioluminescence.
-Circular purple spots on horns are also these amethyst-like structures and behave much in the same way.
-Purple areas do not usually generate any noticeable light, except where the purple remains on his glow version on the right.
-Scaled plates, the scutes on the flank and legs, are coated in a reflective sheen that gleams when light hits it, especially if freshly polished.
-Approximately 29-30 meters from edge of snout to tip of tail when in a relaxed stance as depicted on reference. Wingspan is approximately 46-47 meters.
Special thanks to
leilryu! More art, including other versions of this, on the way!
