Land dragon cats are the most plentiful of the dragon cat subspecies that lives on the Nahwoo island chain, and are found in many locations from The Great Plains, to the yellow sands of Sunshine Shores or the foothills of Sulphur Peaks. It is not uncommon to see many of them live in the same community. Just like all dragon cats they have the ability to breathe fire but have other weapons to defend themselves such as their claws and triangular shaped tail blades.

Nahwoo land dragon cats come in many shapes and sizes. From sleek and slender to big and fluffy bodies. Unlike the flying and water species, land dragon cats do not possess any wings or fins. However they can run very fast and are quite nimble making them the best climbers of the species. Their horns are also the largest of all the species and normally have the same colour as their tail blade. These horns curve upwards and inwards.

Land dragon cats are omnivores and eat a variety of fruits and small animals that they hunt or forage for. They have good bonds with the other dragon cat species but mostly with the flying types as they have more interactions with them on a daily basis.
