and i've got a few other fav's since i found out about Herman, but he'll always be special to me, since he was the first, i've started to incorperate other players with similar playing into my style, such as Randy Rhoads and Luca Turrili (Rhapsody of Fire) for the classical elements, Gus G for some of his blue-syer licks and rhythms, even Corey and Matt from Trivium dare i say, for some of the more brutal breakdown parts.

Dont get me wrong I have other faves.. Just hurman li is my idol lol

Ibanez S series maybe? I used to own an Ibanez RG7321, if you didn't know it's the seven string model, they're a really excellent and proficient guitar brand, especially if you pay just a little more for the better ones.

not sure if that post was at me or whatever XD, it's deffenatly an E-Gen, if you look on the upper horn you can see the hand grip.

nice, i do like the LP's, but the're not for me, most are to heavy, only one i've found that i can stand to play on for more then 10 mins is my Epiphone LP Gothic run from... 2008 i think... the one that had the Floyd installed on it.

I JUST bought the E-Gen, Better than the Startini in my Opinion anyway (Also costed me $3853.21.. I cried to lose that much cash... but so fucking worth it!!!). I Love the E-gen It's fucking fun to shred on. I never mess up. it's so clean and crisp. No lie. sound bloody amazing. Fuck all those DF haters. I'm actually making a signiture Ibanez My self. And Im a HUGE Whammy user Thats why i go for Ibanez, I use RG4 series, (Sometimes gio depending on the gio that is) Jem, Presteige. Im Ok wit ESP and LTD. Still a Ibanez fan. I also tend to kick my guitar up when i play and use the whammy bar lmao... Im SUCH a DF fan boy it isnt funny xD

Lol its simpler than u think. Iv only played guitar for 6 yrs

and me for half that, trust me, i know my limit's, however, i am working on them, Crazy Train is a good song i use to improve my picking speed and accuracy, as well as the same for my fretting fingers. and i use Afterlife by A7x for getting to grips with sweep picking. Finally i tent to end the "speed workout" by playing through the main theme of The Fire and The Fury by Firewind, great sone for alternate picked shreds and for improving you finger span, since 6-9-10 on the B with one hand is quite a streach for me XD

I love a7x. Ozzy rock. I warm up with A7x, then ozzy, then iron maiden , an lat dragonforce. Then last my originals.

nice warm up routine, in fact Gus G (Firewind's guitarest) is Ozzy's new one, very talanted player.

yeah, thats the reason i don't play LP's much, hurts my back if i play them for more then a few minutes.

i do like the tone they have though. and i must admit, even though i liked the really pointy shapes, i do like the LP as well... in fact i seem to like most Gibson shapes... just not the compey itself... the quality control in the factory is pretty bad...

Same, aside from the first one I got (a GRG one with the Edge3 bridge) I've never had a problem with my Ibbys XD

MY fav is the RG4 series ESPECIALLY with Demasio Pick-ups... HEAVEN! My cheapest one now is like a 800$ guitar. i have 8 guitars maybe 9. I have an E-gen, RG4exqm1, JS2400 (its a decent guitar but, Not as good as people put it out to be. More of a bluesy feel. E-gen kicks it ass) 2 RG471AH (the tremelo vertions, Wal-nut and natural.)B.C rich (Sucks ass) First custom (Not that great but not to bad suprizingly) FOXXE(Very, very, very rare. Only 12 left in the world. Dad gave it to me. worth like 2 or 3 grand. Sounds like an Ibanez) And Then My first good Ibanez S570MQM sounds really good!

i have 11 XD, but they're all lower end ones, most expenceive one i have is a Dean ML which i got for £600 with the case.

well, not shit IMO, but they don't sound as nice as my Ibby's, i mainlyu use them for messing with tunings and such, since all my Ibby's have a Floyd, and i'm sure we both know how much of a pain they are to change tunings one XD

Very good pic there, really dynamic. My band recorded at Thin Ice Studios with a chap called Karl Groom. He has worked with and recorded DragonForces albums and one of Herman Li's Ibanezs was there so I had a fiddle on it. Nice guitar but I'm not a huge fan of ibanez really. Just not my cup of tea playability wise.

But yeah wicked pic, one of the best guitar ones I've seen by far!

Behringers are good for the money and tend to be tanks, same as crates. Can't say I've ever heard of berguda in all honesty. I have a Behringer cab I sometimes use to make a full stack with my Engl cab. My favourite amps would have to be Engl though. I use an AxFx for live, but the Engl just sounds beastly regardless

What the Engl?

Varies, I tend to import mine in from Germany as they are a german company and works out cheaper. But it depends, in Pounds sterling they range from about £800 for the basic amp-head right up to £3000 I have a mid-range one the "workhorse" of the range. Cabs are anything from £400 to £1000 but that's obviously all new prices and it may work out cheaper in Dollars. They're good amps though, quite a few bands use them.

They have a nice meaty tone that's a little more versatile than a Mesa-Boogie. Mesa's are obviously nice amps but you can generally get more for your cash nowadays.

I like Iron Maiden as well! My Influences are Dragonforce, Wintersun, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Helloween, Avenged Sevenfold, Steelheart, Evanescence, and of course Nightwish! Few others as well but those you can till like by the way i play guitar. BUT, I will forever be a die heart Dragonforce fan.

Yeah, it was a bit wasn't it? Hahaha really liked Imaginaerium I thought that was a fantastic album. Was really surprised when I heard she'd left/got the boot. Shame really I've kind of lost a bit of interest in them since that. It will take something damned impressive to win me back. I love the old albums but there new singer is going to have to really blow me out of the water.

I thought about that same thing with Dragonforce. it baffled me on why ZP Thearp left. But Mac Impressed me. so Im still with them. Hey you wanna talk more I can give you My MSN or Skype or Yahoo. Or all of them :P
