Sure many of you know these cute lovable characters from the animated series 'The Get Along Gang'.
Despite the series having the same age as me, I discovered it over a decade ago in a local television, and through there I was taking it affection, I couldnt see many chapters but I could see it enough to hook their players. Therefore I dedicated this picture for 25 years.
Hopefully it gets back over for some child network from Spain.

Maravilloso. Todos los carácteres principales están aquí, además del Club House Cabooth en el camino.
Esta ilustración me hace muy feliz.
Great work! All the main characters are here, even the Club House Cabooth on its way.
This marvellous artwork makes me feel very happy.

What a nice picture! I remember these characters very fondly.
Did you know: The Get Along Gang was created in 1983 for a series of greeting cards by the American Greetings Company?
It was turned into a cartoon in 1984, but only ran for one year. There was a set of children's books, too.
Later on, when I was growing up in the 90's, it aired on PAX Network in the USA.
I'm glad that such a lovable show was aired in other countries as well.

thank you very much, i glad that you apreciate this small tribute to 25 years about this lovely cartoon, i discovered this cartoon show a few later about 2001, and then i couldnt to see more than some chapters for a few days. i think that here in Spain it become to start its so sad, i love these characters, specially Bingo the beaver and Rudiard the lion, and i m a few sad also that those cutes characters are a bit forgotten
"Dogtanian" was not shown in the US so I am not familiar too much. I do know the cartoon was popular in Great Britain.
Furry pin-ups are all well and good...but I like to draw the Get Along Gang doing things. They are a nice bunch of characters to match the various moods I feel (happy, sad, angry, goofy).

I even had this idea for a 2D theatrical movie
it starts off in July, & after an argument on how friends should get along, the gang split up, where they have been divided into two rival gangs:
Trenity: a gang that beleieves that peace & being nice is better, & being negative & being too mad at someone is no way to deal with someone… even they have to stop them by force, main colors includes White, Blue, & Gold, theme include mix of techno & fancy, & members include Mongomery Moose (leader), Bingo Beaver (co-leader), Woolma Lamb, Breaker Turtle, & Bernice Bear
& Kajun Kritters: a gang who beleves that being mean-spirted is part of life, & people should deal with it, because a man takes charge, a man is tough, & a man never quits, but they can still be friends in the end, their main colors are brown, red, & army-green, their theme is country & tough guy theme, & their members include Zipper Cat (leader), Dotty Dog (co-leader), Rocco Rabbit, Rudyard Lion, & Flora Fox
Portia Porcupine left the gang because she didn’t want to be part of this, & Lolly Squirrel’s dad had to move his sweets company to Chicago, so she had to move away, but 3 months later, Portia decides to get the gang back together, cause a greedy oil production company called P.O.G. wants to place oil wells in the green meadow’s forest where the gang’s caboose, where the oil will pollute all of greend meadow forest, so it’s up to portia, lolly, Trenty, & the Kajun Kritters to get back together, get along again, & use some Home-Alone-like traps & dart gun gadgets to stop this greedy oil company & their beast wars megatron-like owner Darwin Tiger, & his sexy seccertary, too
What do you think, would that be good?

The theme to the Nelvana TV special was performed by John Sebastian, original lead vocalist of folk rock group "The Lovin' Spoonful" who had hits in the 1960s with songs like "Summer In The City" and "Do You Believe in Magic?". He also contributed to several other films and tv specials by Nelvana. (see below)
