I was helping a neighbor put a cow back into its pasture one day. I was pushing the cow (actually a big calf) from behind. The calf then touched the electric fence with its nose, and I got zapped.
I've also been zapped on the forehead by a cattle prod. And when I was three, I plugged in a vacuum cleaner, holding the prongs, and came to on the other side of the room.
That's why my hair looks like the unholy offspring of Medusa and Don King.

You should love this story then. When I was but a pup (early teens) I was tasked with milking the cows (2) after school and on weekends. T'was a fine Saturday morning (after cartoons, of course) when I went to herd the 2 cows into the pen behind the barn. Little did I know, the Holstein had went through the electric fence on Friday and mom had complained to dad and dad had "fixed" the electric fence... but this time, he wired it directly into the electricity (120 volt)... and had moved the line running from the barn to the fence so it was directly over the gate where I was herding the cows. #1. I never saw it (now was I looking for it there). #2. The ground was nice and wet and muddy after friday's rain. #3. I was the kind of kid that preferred bare feet over boots. The wire hit me right across the bridge of my nose... while I was in 6 inch deep mud. That was around 8am. Mom found me, unconscious, around 9am. I ended up with a beautiful raccoon mask and a headache. Dad got a good laugh.
I got a good chuckle out of this. The situation reminded me of the old Voyage Through Inner Space ride at Disneyland. Because the pod cars on the ride created intimacy like the cabins on your ferris wheel, operators started calling Voyage Through Inner Space, Voyage Through Inner-course.
