I hope the quality comes through on this. I'm going to be using a mini version as my icon, I think; I tried to make the focus sit mostly on the face itself, rather than the dyed hair or labcoat. Especially fun were the eyes, goggles, the inside of the ear, and wrinkles from the snarl-grin.

Seriously, though. Photoshop, maybe 3 hours work total of actual work, like 12 random references of hyenas. Fun fact, when they snarl, you see that their lower jaw is MASSIVE compared to a true canid. c: Or, um, most things.

Rahball actually made me a kit - bought by Thesaria, because Thesaria is AMAZING <3 - for this particular 'sona. See, this 'sona has access to hair-dye, and enjoys colours that look unnatural against eir otherwise-natural fur, thus the blue in the picture. My almost-finished plush? Green mohawk, purple wings, purple tail-tip. Rockin'. :D
After all, who WOULDN'T pounce a fluffy flyena? :D
