I'm trying to come up with a new character design that is aquatic based, but can also fit in with my regular cast, eg, reptillian, so, logically a turtle (or alligator/croc) comes to mind. I'm still not 100% happy with the design at the moment but do kinda like it. I'm quite aware I draw the same characters too often so I'm trying to diversify things a little.

Plus I tried hard not to get him/her not look too koopa or ninja-turtle-ish, hence using the long neck and stripey design of some sea-turtles. I'll keep doodling this character to see if I can come up with something cute I'd like to keep, because right now he/she looks like a bit of an ugmo :D
