“Staring at it again huh?” Shaid asked, Jazel jerking up from her seat before fully clocking it was him, and then sighing as she slumped back in the cushioned seat.

“I was just…cleaning the frame, that's all.” Jazel responded, placing the image of her and Vengy out walking the central pine park within their city back on the end table.

“It’s ok to express your emotions Jazy.” Shaid stated, walking over to rub her shoulders as she sighed and nodded.

“I just…I’ve worked it over so many times, over and over and over in my head. I don’t know if there’s anything I could have done differently…but she’s been gone for so long, I just wish there was something I could even beat myself up about. Something I could chase to fix her being gone…” She said, her head moving to rest in her hand as she just let a very heavy sigh leave her mouth.

“I know…it’s frustrating, she seemed to be doing so well, but then she just vanished…we can only hope she finds her way back.” Shaid responded, squeezing her shoulders one final time before patting them.

“Want some hot chocolate? Help melt the nerves?”

“I…yeah, I would appreciate that, thanks.” Jazel responded, giving him a look and a smirk. He gave one back, and the two would turn to look away from one another as Shaid went to the kitchen.

Jazel then turned to continue to stare at the picture, looking at it for a good long while. She’d give a soft sigh, rubbing the sides of her head with her hands.

And then a loud beep would sound from her visor sitting next to the image on the table.

“A distraction, good, that’s something.” Jazel murmured, pulling the visor over her eyes as she went about opening the alert she’d been given. “Now what horrible thing is happening toni-”

Her voice cut off, as her hand went to her mouth. It would be at this point Shaid would walk back into the room with two cups. He’d give a look at her, seeing the visor, but also her expression. He’d walk into her line of vision, and he’d stare at her questioningly.

Eventually she’d notice, and she’d drop her hand, and finally mutter out.

“A multiversal disturbance has been detected, in the abandoned factory district on the edge of town.”

Shaid would drop the two glasses. They’d get caught, shadows forming and holding them, before placing them on the end table before they began fully enveloping his form.

“Well, if that isn’t super hero timing.” he responded, with Jazel not able to help having a smirk cross her face.

And with a press of a button on her chair, the two dove down into their respective shuts to her lab, getting suited up along the way before getting ‘shot’ out into the night.

“Alright, it’s been quite long enough…let’s get you home.” Scarlet Blades said under her breath, as NightShade melded into the shadows around them, and the two darted off into the night.

Felt this was absolutely worth putting up during the winter months, very much enjoy the outfits  Sinnabelle came up with for these two! ; v ; Didn't have a defined idea as to what to do with this though, and with my story currently constantly waiting for me to finally get to the 'Eria multiversal travel' many image series I was scratching my head before I snapped my fingers and was just like 'a lead in, that's what this will be!'. Though Obviously don't get the story of the image itself, but maybe I'll come back to that later. Either way, hope you enjoy this lovely rendition of these two, think she did a wonderful job incorporating more animalistic features into Jazel especially ; v ; turned out super well to me!
