Alena was once a member of a wealthy Helsparthii family. She was sent to Vertist, a foreign nation, to study Lein at one of the most prestigious universities on all of Endoryn. She managed to get a sponsorship to the Martial Inhibitors, an even more prestigious thing. She passed all of her classes with Gold-Marks and took a job with the Martial Inhibitors. Since the Martial Inhibitors is a militar corporation she was forced to revoke her Helsparthii citizenship. That coupled with a strained relationship with her mother got her removed from her family, hence the epithet, "The Nameless." The Vertisians use the epithet Swift-Sting for her.
