The Strallow

Pronounced ˈstrā-lō (STRAH-loh).

The Strallow is a chimera genetically engineered from the merging of human DNA and multiple other species’ DNA including wolves, tigers, raccoons, monkeys, and reptiles. These chimeras possess humanoid characteristics of bipedalism, hands, and feet, and have thick fur coats that can be found in a wide range of natural colors. With digitigrade legs, a prehensile tail, and formidable paws, Strallows have remarkable agility and strength compared to humans.

Strallows have several enhancements over humans. While they share similar vision capabilities to humans, their pointy ears and elongated snouts greatly increase their auditory and olfactory capabilities. Their digitigrade legs allow them to move at faster speeds. And lastly, their long tails enable them to suspend themselves with nearly double their body weight. Together, the Strallow symbolize a fusion of genetic elements in an interplay of heightened abilities.

Originating from Strallow Crux Industries, a once prestigious biotechnology corpocracy now known as the Crux, the Strallows was brought into existence through humans morphing into the species via the Omnimatrix. As their population grew through additional morphing and propagation, this marvel of genetic innovation turned into a symbol of the Crux's deepening, dark ambitions. This shift has led to a fractured society, where the Strallows embody both the promise and peril of meddling with human genetics.
