Surge of Power! (Mega Man Battle Network 6)
Although I have never played a single Mega Man video game in my life (and probably never will because when it comes to video games, my loyalty typically goes to Sonic the Hedgehog), the music from that franchise still illustrates just how amazing video game music is, and why I consider it to be some of the greatest instrumental works ever written today. (I tend to prefer instrumental over vocal music; no lyrics means no questionable content if you don't want to deal with that.) When I first heard the boss fight song "Surge of Power!" from Mega Man Battle Network 6, I thought, "I want to try that." So I did.
