Was listening to some of the James bond songs and it gave me an idea. First time trying to make smoke so I don't know if it turned out or not.

The effects are great! (smoke, glow in the eyes, shade and light)
I think it suits the theme. He has that look about him that a lot of characters of the detective genres have. Reminds me of Cowboy Bebop or Lupin the third
That's a great angle you made here. When I tried using Gimp, I realized how much more work it is than drawing by hand. I also don't have a tablet so using a mouse gets frustrating. It's not that I am bad at it, it takes painfully long.
Thanks for sharing.

:p thanks for the comment... I get bored in photoshop and like to test new things to me out. So far I have found the things I like to use. Which are constant in each piece. Which is how I shade and highlight... o.o blur is fun too (that is how I got the smoke). Yeah I know how it is with the mouse which I refuse to use at this point.
That's a way to do it. I liked playing around with the visual effects in Photoshop when I was in high school. Not to use them but just to see what they look like. I forgot which was my fav. It might have been pastel or something to do with making my work look like a painting or a cartoon. Thanks for sharing!
