In this world there are many many souls, but not all are harmless. Some cause much pain and endanger the stability of our reality. For that purpose there have been artificial souls created to subdue and destroy these dangers.

Soul number 001: 16th Claymore
A soul meant to bind another soul of relative destructiveness.
The soul's aura separates and forms 16 blades to pierce and hold the malevolent entity.In order to sustain itself after binding this soul will begin to eat away at the imprisoned soul. When the captured soul fades it finds another evil soul to erode. Upon ridding the region of the dangerous souls it dissipates into the surroundings and gives rise to a great number of other souls to replenish what the destructive souls had erased.
