I see a lot of Princess Mononoke fanart of San, Ashitaka, Moro, and her pups, but very little of Yakul.
Yakul is by far my favourite character.

He's so loyal and faithful, he's not afraid to risk his life to help Ashitaka, and he's deeply intuitive. He seems to be 100% aware of what's going on yet still remains so calm.

I also think his design is incredibly beautiful, like a perfect cross between a reindeer and a lechwe. He's a creature that you've never seen before, yet he looks so familiar.

He will forever be one of my favourite Ghibli characters
