There's something in your stories, maybe the style of your writing or just some sort of soul that makes me really like them very much. Ah, and it's like a fairytale, albeit a little bit darker. Isn't that what they were like initially though?
It made me think of that one: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/44755847/
Your stories sometimes are like fairytales. The one I sent a link to has a better ending. ^^

Thank you for that. It was so long ago I had forgotten it. One of the greatest curses of being an alcoholic is that life happens and fades away forgotten...unless of course you did something the sober version of you regrets. Two years later it was like reading something someone else wrote, though I recognize my style and it summoned memories from the depths of my consciousness. In truth I find it astonishing I hadn't thought of it for all that time since I posted it beyond a few days after, not once.
Considering it now strangely enough it has great relevance, of late I've come to realize words are one of the only ways for me to remember the past. Drawings can only reflect thought in abstract for me, and too often they all seem the same mirror. A story, no matter how short, at least provides a silhouette of a previous night. A flight record of sorts, or the captain's log of a ship in a storm, if that makes sense.
I'd say in a way that's why I've decided to return to it, try to find what's left. I don't possess the power to create a focused narrative though I've tried, I don't think I ever did even before I started drinking, yet a fairy tale is without a doubt the stones and bones of writing, a sort of genesis for tales, and so I hope I can create a few more even though that sort of thing will never be epic.
Anyway I'm glad you enjoy them when they do appear.
