First upload of the year. Though the picture was done by my good friend  Snowfyre for my birthday last year. So I'm a tad late, lol.

Anyway not much of a story this time, just mostly a set up to the picture this time. Hope everyone enjoys!

The fire crackled and popped away as the warmth it provided chased away the cold night air. Two logs sat on either side, with three people divided up between them. Inari sat on one side by herself, while Mya and Cyndie sat near each other on the other log. Fish, sausages, marshmallows and a carrot roasting over the open flame. The scent filled the air as Mya chatted with her pokemon, laughing over a small dumb joke. It honestly felt good to relax after chasing that Rattata that stole some of their stuff earlier that day.



“You know it might be some time before these are fully cooked” the collie said as she lifted her head after checking the food.



“Awww… but I wanted roasted carrot,” Cyndie replied. Her ears dropped as she stared sadly up at Mya.



“Well, how about a story to pass the time?” the trainer suggested.



“Oh! Oh! What about the Pokesuit one!”



Inari looked at the Cinderace with a weird look. “Really, you get so scared when we go near that place after I tell them.”



The fire type’s expression turned into a pleading one as she looked back at her trainer. “Please Mya…. I want to hear it….” she whined.



Mya turned back towards her other Pokemon. “Oh come on Inari, it’s a good night for at least one scary story. Sides she deserves a reward for catching that Rattata”



Inari hesitated before letting out a sigh. “Ok, fine. But if she latches herself onto your head again, don’t expect me to use a crowbar to get her off.”



“Deal. Sides at least we won’t hear her complain tonight.”



The Inteleon simply rolled her eyes with a small shake of her head.



“And for the record, I let her get that Rattata,” Inari said before she went quiet for a bit. Her expression was thoughtful for the next minute or so.



“Ok now then. I do have a new one. Not a security guard, but rather a janitor that found himself working late one night….”
