Hooray, another OC! Had this idea when my friend told me to make a frilled lizard character while also thinking about space themes.

Zylix (ZY-licks, the "zy" rhymes with "sigh") is a frilled dinosaur whose origin is NOT Earth! In actuality, he's from outer space! He was incubated and hatched on a personal space ship, raised by the ship's AI, learning at a young age that he was evacuated before being hatched from a planet doomed by a sun in his galaxy going nova. It's unclear whether or not there are other survivors, but he doesn't dwell on the ambiguity, since he didn't actually know anyone from there anyway. Finding his existence lonely, he started traveling to different planets to make friends and see all that the universe has to offer. He's a thrill-seeker and a fast learner -especially when it comes to using his hands like in carpentry- but he's not good at things like coding, which require a lot of work without timely, tangible results.

He usually wears these cuffs on his neck, wrists, and ankles. These are basically a computer system which does all sorts of handy things for him. From basic computer things to self-diagnostic tools and even extruding his space suit materials. It even translates for him! That being said, he likes to make things for himself, and as such he has an "Earth fashion" outfit he made with his own vision!

As for gender, he was born without genitalia. However, he leans heavily toward the male identification and so he goes with that. In a more nuanced definition, he considers his gender ambiguous and just goes with what's more convenient when it comes to pronouns/identity.
