Hey Everyone! There's another dolphin in town...
It's been quite some time since I've had an update, but I am finally able to post one of my current projects... I've been working over the past few months on a fursuit of Mineau, the anthro-dolphin character from my book "The Origin Chronicles: Mineau".
I have never sewn anything before, but since I love to learn new skills I decided to try and make it myself. I was finally able to finish the head this past weekend. It's not perfect, but I'm fairly pleased with it for my first attempt at making a fursuit.
I also created a separate FA profile page for
mineau to showcase any mascot character outings and events.
Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for the compliment Derland!
In answer to your question, although I haven't updated my profile and webpage yet, I definitely would not mind making fursuits for people. Since I'm fairly new at the process I'll probably stick to partials (heads, half-suits, etc.) for the time being, unless someone gives me the go-ahead to attempt a full-suit. But yeah, I'd love to start making them...I find it cool seeing people's characters "come to life".
Hopefully I will be able to finish and post pictures of the rest of my full-suit soon... I'll know more then. Thanks again!

Thanks! I only have pictures of the head at this point since that is all I have finished, but if you would like I'll see if I can upload some other views to my scraps folder later.
Currently I have my bodysuit pattern laid out, but I still need to cut everything out and sew it all together. I'll be sure to upload pics of that once it is finished as well.
Feel free to send me a private note sometime if you would like to talk about a head or anything... I'll give you my e-mail address so you can send any concept art you have, and I'll see what I might be able to do!

AWESOME!
This world resumes briefly what I think of your work Dolphyn! I see you used some interesting very short pile fur for your head with a nice color selection and your sewing skills seem very good despite it's your first try at it! I mean I can not see stitches there. What you did with the eyes is incredible too! ...It's the first time I see some yes with such an effect in them and so many details as well! They're amazing!
I have a little question though, do you see trough the eys or through an opening in the mouth?
Anyway, keep up the god work now Dolphyn, we can't wait to see the rest of the suit! And since it's will be a half suit, I can't wait to see the robe too!

Thanks so much for the compliment my friend!
It took far longer than I expected but I'm pretty pleased with the result. The sewing on the head actually took the longest...I hand-sewed the entire pattern before I laid it down just to be sure it lined up properly. I think I had literally fifty separate pieces of fur to line up because of the angles on the head!
I'm really glad to hear everyone likes the eyes, I truly had a rough time making a pair that looked right! I feel that the eyes make or break the character. And yes, I actually look through the mouth, so unfortunately no moveable jaw on this suit! Maybe next time...
I'll be sure to let you know as soon as the suit and robe are done... hopefully it won't be too long! Thanks again Bryagh!

I'm excited to see how things turn out. I've been contemplating how I want to make a suit. Whether I want to make a full suit or partial and what material I'm going to make it with. Like using some kind of smoother material or a velvet or short fur. I'm still trying to decide. heh. But once I get up a little bit of money so I can get a sewing machine and some materials, I'll be trying for it.
Seriously, forgive me my bad language but jesus fucking christ this is so awesome. Really. There should be more dolphin suits and sonas out there. This is just fantastic, and so original that it just melts my heart. You should get an award.. Really just... Whoa this blows me away.
