This looks so rad I had to go check out the rpg. Any suggestions for a new comer?

Honestly, not much to say. Anathema is freeform and super chill. You can change nearly everything about your character later into the gameplay so you are not stuck with anything you might not like to play. Mods also love to help out a lot if you are stuck with something.
I'd say find something you enjoy writing or drawing and then have fun. I especially love the world building aspect, everyone is invited to create regions, towns, factions etc.
