Coastal Redwoods at Big Basin. I can neither express just how much I love the redwoods and how happy they make me, nor can photos really capture their fill glory, but that is ok.

Giant trees and glowing moss and scintillating streams and minute fungi yes.

Ive been to big basin before. Its a beautiful place that I swear you feell the power of the earths life force there. Not that I'm spiritual its just that beautiful.

I think the western united states rainforests are some of the most unique places to visit. You're totally right about not being able to capture the 100% majesty of these ancient trees....but its still a GORGEOUS picture. <3 Thank you for sharing it with us!

I've only recently spent time among redwoods. There are (usually cultivated) groves of them in several places near me, including a collection of Coast Redwoods and giant Sequoias at the Hoyt Arboretum. I love them, though, and I want to grow one once I have a house with a yard.
