That is pretty cool! However, dose it contain anything that hasn't been seen on TV yet? Or anything I didn't record on batamax during its original run?

Not that I'm aware of, but all the episodes are in stereo and keep the original transitions between the acts. The only thing it doesn't have are the "Secret Files of the SWAT Kats," but I'll take whatever I can get. :D

I'd take anything I can get as well. This show was the best ever! I remember buying what I thought was something special and supposedly the whole series on ebay a few years back... What I got was the whole series recorded off cable from Boomerang!

FWIW, this set is definitely better than anything recorded off cable... it's just too bad there's no Blu-ray version.

Bit late here, but yes it, does: there's part of a scene in the second episode that was cut for reruns where Dr. Viper feeds a guy to his bacteria monster mostly offscreen.

Is that the scene where Dr. Zyme is killed? There's also a scene implying a body count where an entire subway car full of passengers is swallowed in the same episode.

No it's at the farm. He lifts the farmer up with his tail and feeds him to the bacteria monster.

I'll have to rewatch the episode. I thought the farmer saw the bacteria eating the cow and ran away but I could be mistaken.

Kooshmeister had pointed out that the farmer was 'eaten' by the bacteria. Though we don't actually see it, it's implied by many that Dr. Zyme also suffered the same fate later in the episode.

There is a campaign being organized to see SWAT Kats revived for the new generation; Christian Tremblay, one of the co-creators of the original cartoon, has expressed interest in seeing this done.
