Its been a while since I've done an Ira artwork, and I had lots of free time tonight so I decided to draw something of her . Phrixy will be very happy haha.
I wanted to do something soft, small, subtle and a little sensual in spirit. Try saying that sentence five times fast...I also wanted to try a turning pose, so her shoulders are almost turned to a profile view while her spine and pelvis are actually from behind. I also wanted the stripes to follow her spine that way and help accentuate the turning.
I also wanted to experiment with light and sunshine and the idea that water makes the form distort under water so that's why her feet are slightly wiggly. I didn't want to put too much distraction in the background so that's why there's not a filled forest. I'm still playing with water it seems haha.
