In the game after calling and asking Frisk if she likes butterscotch or cinnamon in her pie (which she then just throws both ingredients into) she then later guides Frisk back into her home Toriel begins mothering her by giving her a room, shelter and food. Frisk wants to eventually leave though through a force of compelling. Toriel tries everything she can to get the young human to live with her, even as far as making an attempt to destroy the only way out further underneath her house which leads to the game's first "boss fight" against her.

Here, Toriel comically tries to get Frisk to stay without forcing her into a battle this time around.
