Dialogues:
Voolvif: Captain Valkodlak. I... I want to apologize in all due sincerity and humility for my uncalled behaviour. You saved my life out of great danger. And I...? How have I rewarded your kindness? With bared fangs... I am feeling shamed of myself. I am your servant.

I’m sure Captain Valkodlak, has a few uses for a Jedi servant.
I know Voolvif can’t use the force openly in public for obvious reasons, but he could still have some use. Like using the force to subtly slow down and weaken a bounty, meditate to find targets with visions, and tame alien monsters in the wilderness.
Though I do wonder how his Jedi teachings will hold up while working with bounty hunters. I mean we don’t know the full story of the Hutts and the Chistori bounty. For all they know, the Chistori may be trying to shut down the Hutt’s crime operations like slavery and spice trade. If the Chistori was a good guy, or at least not deserving a terrible fate, Voolvif may oppose giving him up.
Of course this opens a massive can of worms. The Jedi council was arrogant and did bend to the will of the Senate, but to be fair, the Senate did pay their bills so it’s not like the Jedi had much choice.
I think Voolvif might find himself in a similar situation. The crew of the Howling Cerberus may be good people, but those offering the biggest bounties may not necessarily be good themselves. While it’s admirable to be a hero, the present situation might not allow him to be one.
Three theories for how this turns out:
1. Voolvif bends the knee and forfeits his Jedi teachings to be a proper bounty hunter.
2. He stays with crew but refuses to hunt; opting instead to fulfill other roles like repair, navigation, et cetera.
3. Leaves the crew to seek other more benign employment.
4. The issue was never a problem to begin with because the crew was already selective about their bounties and only go after unambiguous criminals and not the victims of crime lords.

Fennrer himself being an alpha and sometimes hotblooded, he's likely understanding that it's hard to give such an apology, though from the ear twitch just making sure that he's hearing Voolvif correctly and maybe a little bit surprised but relieved that he's not now intending on any recklessness.
Even for a Jedi humility doesn't always come easily and perhaps not something that would necessarily be particularly easy for a Shistavanen, so Fennrer likely would respect that for Voolvif though of course as we see in the next page, he'd forgiven him already.
