So I get home from work a few weeks ago, and my fiance has painted this! A wonderful oil on canvas-board portrait of Chucky. This is a photo of course, the real thing looks better. Eventually he'll be framed and hanging somewhere in the house and I'll get to explain to friends and relatives who he is.

It does take a while. I made the mistake once of leaving it outside to dry overnight. It had bugs stuck all over the dang thing by morning.
When I was painting in high school, our paints were extremely limited, because a few people would squeeze out a fifth of the tube, lock it
in their locker, then never come back to class. The rest of us were using our paints sparingly. My final canvas I narrowly ran out before I finished.
