So I got a FNAF AU. These idiots are the protags.
In 1987, years after William Afton was let go from Fazbear Entertainment, Henry needed to create new animatronics. He brought on a different roboticist, Dr. Steel, to help him create the Toy animatronics. Dr. Steel wants his creations to take over the world one day, so he made sure to do too good of a job while creating the Toys, giving them highly advanced AI that basically gives them human-like consciousness. After the bite of '87 at one of the other locations caused by a guy trying to prove the bite of '83 as a hoax, plus William's attempts at sabotage, plus Toy Bonnie accidentally inspiring Toy Foxy to become the Mangle after a stunt she pulled on-stage, Henry called it quits and handed off Fazbear Entertainment to Toy Freddy himself. Freddy decides to instate workplace democracy, and the Toybots manage to turn Fazbear Entertainment around completely. The Toys end up being the new standard for the characters since they never get scrapped, so they're usually just referred to without the "Toy" prefix. The Toybots are also powered by pizza!

Freddy sings and plays guitar. He's the straight man of the group, ending up on the butt-end of the other band mates' silly antics. Bonnie also sings and plays guitar. She's very silly and dumb and fruity and is usually a bad influence on the rest of the band. Dr. Steel was confused on which gender Bonnie was and initially made her a girl, but Henry corrected him and had him re-design her torso and so on. This change was later undone since Bonnie wanted to be a girl. Chica sings and plays bass. She's very much food-motivated and is less chaotic than Bonnie, but often joins in on her bullshit, especially if food is involved. Mangle plays keyboards and drums. They're very impressionable and they love being a weird mangled mess. The band bought a soviet stove at the flea market and it became a part of Mangle, giving them fire breath. Mangle's fire is key to keeping Willy's forces at bay. The Puppet was technically not a part of this line of robots, but was one of the only surviving original animatronics that didn't burn as collateral damage in one of the fights between the Toybots vs. William's mechanical abominations. Balloon Boy is an enragement child. Helpy was an addition to the cast of Toybots after they took over Fazbear Entertainment. They wanted a helping hand with maintenance, paperwork, and finances. She's the only other Toybot that isn't an idiot besides Freddy, but she finds Bonnie funny and cute so she ends up enabling her silly antics anyway.
