I like the echo that the drums give off, and yeah it does give it that DDr feel, maybe because of the tempo and the squareish bass sound. Good Experiment, Idk if it's random or not, but to my ears it seems to go through so many different feels and styles of music. Quite amazing. Yeah, when the song ends, the orchestra hits end it quite nicely, though as a suggestion for looping purposes you could use those orchestra hits as an guide to re-looping the song.
