I ran back to my room as fast as i could as octara went into the bathroom. i collapsed onto my bed with my mind now running with pure adrenaline, a giant spider standing right in front of me while i was half asleep. well it's a good thing i didn't have work tomorrow because i sure as hell wasn't sleeping tonight. i let out a sigh as i opened the blinds just to see a nice relaxing night sky, as if one cue a small bit of thunder could be heard in the distance. i couldn't help but smile at the idea of a nice thunder storm even better if there's some lightning. the two were like art and music to me maybe some good would occur tonight. another crack of thunder occurred much loader and closer this time. followed by a rapid tapping. "octara is that you"? i got my answer as my door slammed open as octara ran in screaming. before i could even do or say anything though it would probably have just been a horrified scream and launched into the air before falling onto my bed. by this point i was screaming granted i think it was mute at this point but none the less i was screaming. with out a word all eight of octara's spider legs wrapped around my body while her arms wrapped around my head. despite my terror i did notice she seemed to be trembling, why? was she scared? something in the bathroom? another crack of thunder boomed and her grip just tightened. ah the thunder, odd i thought that just scared children and some dogs. "the thunder scares you i take it?" i asked nervously though she didn't say anything she did nod rather fast. "alright you can stay here to night. just don't crush me or anything ok". she again just nodded to my statement, with a sigh i just pulled my discarded blanket back up over me and octara and began to pet her head to try and keep her calm. to my own surprise i did fall asleep and so did octara. i woke up to find her head resting on my chest,she looked rather peaceful while sleeping and i could almost forget that she was part giant spider, almost. i tried to sit up so i could make some breakfast for when she woke up though i soon found i couldn't. every thing below my elbows i could move without much problem but everything above was palatalized until my neck. after a bit of wriggling to throw my blanket off i was greeted with the sight of my torso wrapped up in webs. well so much for letting her sleep while i make food. "octara please wake up. i need some help." she slowly stirred, her six eyes slowly opening one by one. "morning sir. is something wrong? she asked innocently "not much aside from the fact you seem to have tied me up last night in what i assume was panic last night. would you be so kind to untie me?" her eyes widened before she used her sharp nails to cut the webs effortlessly. "well now that i'm free how does eggs and beef bacon sound before we try to find you some cloths?" she threw her hand in the air. "yes that sounds awesome". i left and now knew she hated thunder storms and possibly loud noises in general and may have a pension for tying things up in her sleep. i'll have to keep that in mind from now on
