Don't know about a NIMH 'zine.

It was put out  timkangaroo many, many years ago, and was called "The NIMH File." No, I don't have a copy, but I've seen it.

Yeah, I still got this on VHS.
The production cross-correlation with this movie, when playing/watching Dragon's Lair or Space Ace, still blows my mind to this day.

Funny thing is, there already is a next generation book and movie. The book's name is "Rasco," and I think the movie's name is "The Adventures of Timmy."

Read the book, saw the movie, And they were both horrible.

RT, Margaret and the Rats of Nimh was worse.

The two follow-up books written by O'Brien's daughter were atrocious, particularly the last one with the children. The animated version wasn't even based on those books, and was still horrifying with one of the absolutely dumbest twists ever. The Nostalgia Critic does a hilarious review of it.

You never did finish this story that I recall. Big disappointment.

Ultimately, I wasn't entirely sure where to go with it. Either to wrap up the immediate situation, or to flash forward to when the Rats and Friends are at the vanguard of a star-faring civilization.

I love the composition! It really makes me want to read your fic because the image is so interesting and brings up lots of questions. Reminds me of the good ol' days when movie posters and video covers for animated movies were good...you know, like something you'd frame and put on a wall. Now, it's like they get whatever terrible intern they can find to design them. Ugh...animation, what happened to you?

Anyway, as usual, your use of lighting makes me absolutely jealous. One day, one day, I'll be able to do that. The balance between your style and Bluth's looks amazing. You did a great job of keeping to his style but putting your own spin on it.

Don't know about the composition and the lighting is kind of neutral, as for color, I can only hope it worked, as I'm sufficently color-blind to not really tell.
