Another of my series of watercolour skulls. This one's a corsican ram. The horns aren't as big as they could be, mostly because I wanted it to fit on the page!

Heh, I'm still learning with them (have plenty of failures for every finished picture I do :D). I'm of a similar opinion - when they go right, there's something to them that no other medium quite seems to attain, maybe it's the fluidity of the medium that does it? And that you can get away with hinting at detail instead of getting caught up in it. lol, it's hard to explain a je nai c'est quoi :D
I remember us talking about watercolors and I just thought I'd let you know that I've been doing lots of practice with them! They are tons of fun!!!
