Seeing how Pop n music, the game that Mimi comes from, gives me a very Y2K vibe, I decided to draw the background this way.
Yep, the same way I did with the earlier double request of a Lilligant and a Raboot I decided to make the background just two colours. It actually allows Mimi to look more big and blimpy too. I love how excited and round she is as she floats helplessly past the buildings of what is clearly Tokyo-to. I'd definitely put this as one of my favourite inflation requests of 2022 and I seriously wanna draw Mimi inflated again.
But this isn't the last time I drew her since there was another request featuring her coming up later in 2022!
