Again, ouch...
When I got my first Gamecube as a teen I'd often pull on the controller like horse reigns for some reason (never even rode a horse), pulling the cord right out of the console, so my parents got me wireless controllers. It took less than a year for those to break too. The C-stick was always the first thing to fail.
I'm a lot less harsh on controllers and keyboards now, which is good because these days I play exclusively on PC.

It might also have to do with bone and muscle strength. I've lost count how many pencils and pens I've accidentally snapped onto splinters on one hand while trying to write or draw...without even being angry. One of my middle-school nicknames was "Primeape." I also really, REALLY sucked at sports...to the point where one time playing indoor mini golf with a bunch of friends...I accidentally smacked someone in the face...with the club... Thankfully he suffered no permanent injury but I felt so bad after that I never touched a golf club again.
Modern touch screens act weird around me. It's not just the glass of the screen, but the very electronics themselves sometimes glitch out when I touch them as if my finger is a fridge magnet. Similar things have happened to my uncle and late grandmother so maybe it's genetic. A rare poorly understood phenomenon called "Street Light Interference Phenomenon." Look it up, it's fascinating.
