She couldn't help but notice the lack of visit from Neeva, worries slowly expanded taking most of her focus. Part of her feared something horrible must have happened and yet somehow still sensed she was still alive somewhere. She tried to reassured herself that Neeva would come visit soon, until then she must learn to be patient.




Then a distraction came to mind, giving another chance for Varas her clumsy but kind employee to prep food. Last time she allowed him in the kitchen, food flew left and right from a chaotic blue bird who required heavy monitoring. Anyone would have fired him for such mess, yet Merry couldn't get the courage to do so, afraid he'll get a job with a less than forgiving boss. At least while working for her she can assure his safety within the walls of this cruel city.




This time she will begin with something simple, something she can easily step in to stop. Preparing the pizza dough, well rolling them into shapes that is, high doubt he could handle the full prepping at the moment. With a little bit of patience and repeating the steps until he seemed to get the hang of it, she was slowly improving him while keeping her mind out of worries.




Perhaps one day Varas will be a professional cook, until that day it is best to give him the basic task.
