Ow that's sad.

Such raw emotion is packed into this piece. The dragon, spreading their remainign wing, standing at a cliff... wishing to feel what they once had - the wind against their scales and filling their wings, birds soaring overhead, and a drop below.

And yet is it lost, and never to be brought back. Their expression is not displaying getting lost in that fantasy, but rather, it's painted with the knowledge that flight is no more than that - a fantasy.

This piece brought me actual tears. You captured the weight of sombre longing marvelously
