Yea, I was disappointed that the long-proposed "North Star" flag was abruptly kicked out of the commission's set of flag candidates. I liked it for many years, and it's been proposed since 1989 and has a decent following behind it.
The new flag feels far too logo-sque to be a flag, and there is literally more Wisconsin on the flag than Minnesota if it's supposed to also be a map of the state.
