Wooho! Finally, the first four production models!
All of these tails are made from a mold of a sculpture I created with Sculpy. After pouring into a silicon mold they are sanded, primed, sanded, and primed again (I need to improve on my mold making skills:P) before being individually airbrushed with Tamyia acrylics and clear-coated twice for protection.
I've still got room for improvement, but it's getting better. These first four will be for sale in the following posts. The red and orange came out great, but seems I'm having issues with blue and purple, as they aren't quite as good, so they will be a bit cheaper due to a few flaws
Tails vary on cost depending of the quality of the end result. Standard price (with shipping) is $25, each subsequent post will contain the cost of the tail.
Am I open for custom tails?
Yes, I'm accepting. Although I'm just now pouring a new batch so it will be a few weeks before they are ready to be painted. I still have issues with my hands, so I am still slow:P Price for custom colors is the same as the regular tails, $25. This is just for a masked tail-tip. Unmasked would be $20. What's the difference between the two? I essentially don't cover the tailtip with tape as I'm shading the rest of the tail, so there isn't really that "cartoonish" line where one color stops and the other starts when it's finished.
And if you want more colors, or other little details...well, we'll have to talk because I haven't tried that yet. Note me if your interested.
Average wait time? Probably about 1-2 months. Maybe shorter if I can speed up the process somehow without losing quality.

AeroMarine Off-White Casting resin
Gunzo Mr. Surfacer 1000 Primer (2 coats)
Tamyia acrylic paint
Krylon UV Clear Acrylic Clearcoat (2 coats)
Stainless Steel metal Eye
Weight: 0.3oz. / 8.5g
Length (with eye): 2 5/16in. / 58mm
Width: 1 9/64in. / 29mm
Height: 11/16in. / 17mm
Need a necklace to go with it?
A black cord or colored small ball chain (silver, pink, blue, purple) 18in. can be added for $1

Anywhere in the continental USA, price of shipping is worked into the cost of the tail (about $5). Out of the USA, I'll have to give you a quote.
