Full name: Rose Ritan
Species: Crow (albino)
Gender: Genderfluid (female form)
Age: 20 (born 2018)
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 130 lb.
Born the daughter of Spencer Ritan, CEO of of the company KuroTech, and a homeless woman forgotten by history, Rose rarely ever saw the world outside of the laboratory she was born and "raised" in, as a subject for her father's experiments into magic's effects on the human body, seeking to advance the human condition. Even after the major experiments were done, and she was deemed a failure in what Spencer sought out, he still had use for her as a tool - for minor experiments, and as an assassin, using the powers she gained as a result of the experiments to eliminate those who opposed him; corporate rivals, meddlesome investigators, that sort of thing. This lasted until 2038, when one mission for her father encountered complications - the police brought on an independent mercenary, one who knew a lot about magic, including the bio-magic she used. While she tried to interfere and keep herself from being caught, this culminated regardless into a confrontation between her and the merc, Errin Azurai.
Errin let her explain herself, and, in a twist of fate, decided not to turn her in to the police, or let her go back to her father - instead, she offered Rose to join her as a duo act, give her the chance for freedom she never had before. Rose accepted, and they became quick friends, and quicker still, lovers. Their relationship was intimate, but soured as Rose found just how bad the experiments had left her body - without access to the stabilizers her father gave her in exchange for her cooperation, her body was decaying far quicker than it naturally should. This forced her to make a decision - a short but free life with Errin, or a long life as a tool for him.
Rose is quiet and has trouble connecting with people due to not growing up around people; she's the type to sit in the background and let others do the talking, unless someone else pulls her into the conversation. Another aspect of her upbringing is that she knows very little of the world, often needing basic concepts explained to her or being surprised by what certain things actually look like. That isn't to say she knows nothing at all about the world; the room she was kept in for experimentation contained a library, mostly consisting of books her father saw no use for, and while this is no substitute for a proper upbringing, Rose is very versed on psychology, philosophy, and religious topics as a result, surprisingly capable of holding a conversation on these topics despite her relative naivete everywhere else.
More than anything, though, Rose values her freedom - her ability to make her own choices and live life the way she sees fit.
As a result of the experiments performed on her, Rose has the "essence" of a monster implanted in her blood, granting her the ability to change her body - entirely or partially - into a mass of red gooey material (think the symbiote from Spider-Man, or liquid latex) which can further be shaped and molded into whatever she can think of. This allows her to change her form into that of various animals and monsters, or to shape her body parts into weapons or other objects, as well as changing her gender form. However, without the stabilizers her father creates, she can't control her powers, or the decay her body suffers. The presence of a magical entity within her biology also makes her a "bio-mage", allowing her to make use of magic and interface with other magitech without the need for any of her own.
