You know, it was funny when I went to the UK and saw these being sold for 20 Pounds (about $38 at the time) apiece in pet shops as an exotic reptile.
They're almost a pest in the lowcountry. My grandmother has a shack on her property that you literally can't open without a dozen of them falling on you.
Then again, I hear iguanas are considered pests in some places too.
